Where is Boscosauro located?

Boscosauro is located in Altamura, along the SS96 road towards Bari. You can find full directions on our website, social media channels and Google Maps.

From Altamura: Take the exit for Cassano delle Murge 13. Follow the “Bosco dei dinosauri” signs and Boscosauro directions along the way.

From Bari: Take the exit for Cassano delle Murge 12, just after the Tecnomec company. Direction signs are available along the route.

Opening hours are from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

We recommend checking the calendar to confirm opening days. Guided tours run at: Morning: 11:00 – 11:30 – 12:00 Afternoon: 4:00 PM Duration: approximately 70 minutes. Times may vary depending on visitor flow.

Yes. In addition to the guided tour, visitors can take part in an excavation workshop with a Paleontology Certificate. The park also includes: • playground area • picnic area • farm animals and aviary • Agriculture Museum
The guided tour lasts approximately 70 minutes. Visitors are free to stay in the park afterward for as long as they wish.

Yes, Boscosauro is designed for the whole family.
It offers an outdoor experience that combines a nature walk, dinosaurs, animals and picnic areas, creating a relaxed and engaging environment for young children.

Yes. A picnic area is available, and visitors are welcome to bring their own food. A food truck is also available, offering snacks, drinks and local dishes. Tables are shared and available while space lasts. You can also enjoy a picnic on the grass.

At our food truck, you can find soft drinks, snacks, sandwiches, pasta with tomato sauce, eggplant parmigiana, and gluten-free aperitif platters. To ensure faster service and reduce waiting times, we recommend ordering your meals as soon as you arrive.

For younger children, we suggest bringing food from home according to their individual needs.

In the picnic area, tables are available to all visitors and may be shared with other guests, subject to availability.

Yes, gluten-free options are available.
Dogs are welcome, provided they are kept on a leash. Large dogs must wear a muzzle.

There is a large parking area, but it is not equipped for overnight stays. Parking is allowed only during opening hours (10:00 AM – 6:00 PM).
